About the Role

This is an integral role within our Human Resources team that will have you delivering tailored HR solutions and advice to multiple business units within NZ.

You'll be instrumental in shaping the organisation, providing expert HR counsel to boost effectiveness and capability, contributing to HR policy development, and ensuring the HR strategy aligns directly with business operational needs.

You'll actively partner with wider business specialists and work particularly closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders and teams.

Collaboration is key to optimising opportunities, maintaining consistent guidance, and mitigating risks to further support business objectives.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Core HR Foundations: A minimum of 5 years proven experience working within an HR generalist role, ideally complemented by a relevant degree in Human Resources or Psychology
  • ER & Risk Management: Strong Industrial Relations exposure, specifically in Employee Relations and mediation
  • Business Partnership: The capability to both present and partner with senior leadership to achieve favourable business outcomes
  • Operational Excellence: Solid planning, organisational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Trust & Integrity: Demonstrated tact and discretion in all dealings with individuals and managing sensitive and confidential information
  • Team Contributor: To be a genuine team player with an authentic approach and a good sense of humour
