We need someone who has the ability to develop quality programmes to increase learner involvement and connect with, inspire, and engage our learners in their musical interests and aspirations.
Please also indicate other supporting subjects.The successful candidate will demonstrate:A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in music including all levels of NCEAEnthusiasm for contributing to and developing co-curricular ensembles and performance opportunitiesThe ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learnersA commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practicesExperience coordinating and managing the itinerant music teacher resourcingWillingness to work collaboratively within the performing arts team.Whangaparaoa College is located 35 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast.
