This role is based in Marlborough and will have the support of our whole viticulture team.
We are seeking a positive, experienced and self-motivated individual to join our established viticulture team as a permanent positionThe key focus of this role is to build strong relationships with external grape growers, and to work with the winemaking teams and winemaking planning to ensure the demand of the business for grapes is met, while meeting financial/commercial targets.
The Grower Supply Manager will provide technical and commercial viticultural support and services in line with company best practice for grower vineyards.Key Responsibilities IncludeResponsible for the management of the company grower portfolio nationally and is responsible for the coordination of grape supply in terms of quality and volume in the specified region advising recommendations to company growers on the implementation of technical programs aimed at achieving company objectives for wine quality and vineyard sustainability.What You'll BringTechnical Viticulture experienceBudgeting and forecastingGood sense of humorStrong customer service focus balanced with understanding business driversProficient with technology including all Windows based applicationsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAction Oriented with a willingness to learn and ability to follow tasks to completionHigh levels of integrity and trustGood attention to detailWhat You Can ExpectVinarchy is a home for passionate people to do their very best work.
