We are looking for a Group Reservations/Events Coordinator to join our Sales Department!

**Main responsibilities include but is not limited to:**

**Group Reservations**

+ Input group rooming lists using reservation systems (e.g., MARSHA, Fidelio, OPERA).
+ Keep organized files of all groups for easy and accurate reference for an event.
+ Revise room blocks in the reservation system (e.g., MARSHA, Fidelio, OPERA) to maintain the required number of available rooms after rooming lists are entered.
+ Set-up proper billing accounts (i.e., share-with, room/tax/incidentals, tax exempt, direct/special billing, group bookings) according to Accounting policies
+ Input and access data in reservation system by entering correct information into proper fields, including Marriott Rewards number, and asking for travel agency IATA and FIT numbers (i.e., flags, comments, guest messages).
+ Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.

**Event Coordination**

+ Liaise with F&B, Kitchen, Sales and other relevant departments to make sure that the client achieve seamless service during their business stay at the hotel.

Ensure a personalized service in line with brand values.
+ Work with the sales team on any tradeshow or events.
+ Design, confirm, and effectively communicate room layouts and set-up requirements for special events.
+ Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases.
+ Coordinate all catering and conference events staged in the hotel, including confirmed events handed over by the proactive sales team.
+ Liase with the Food and Beverage Operations team ensuring that the correct methods of service are to be maintained as per standard operating procedure.
+ Arrange and conduct Hotel familirisations and/or site inspections as and when required.

**About You**

+ Ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and professionally with guests and stakeholders.
+ Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
+ Exceptional computer skills- Microsoft Office Words, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
+ Experience with using reservation system e.g. MARSHA, Fidelio, OPERA is preferred.
+ Hospitality background is essential, Sales experience would be a bonus
+ Individual who can comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
