Can you bring a Pacific worldview to the work we are doing to achieve better health outcomes for Pacific people in Aotearoa?

We know many areas of the health system are not working well for Pacific people, aiga, ngutuare tangata, famili, kāinga, magafoa, kaiga, vuvale and kaaiga (families) and communities.

In fact, Pacific health inequities are observed throughout the lifecourse, from pregnancy and early childhood through to older age.

In Pacific Health, we have a clear vision of a system that allows the strength of Pacific families and community voice to be at the heart of what we do, delivering equitable health outcomes for Pacific people and a future where Pacific families live longer, healthier lives.

The Pacific values of family, service, love, reciprocity, and respect, along with Pacific culture and customs, influence the way we think and every action we take.

We have an opportunity for a Group Manager, Pacific Pipeline to join our Intelligence and Insights team in a key leadership role.

The primary focus of the Group Manager, Pacific Pipeline role is to establish, manage and oversee the implementation of the Pacific Health Pipeline.

Understand the current health research landscape and evaluate and scope research that is ready to be implemented to the wider pacific community.

The Pacific Health Pipeline are programmes of work that will focus on improving the life expectancy and quality of life of the Pacific population in Aotearoa.

The role will see you enable and support the implementation of research across the motu of which The Pacific Health Group and the Fatu Fono Ola (Pacific Health Senate) have endorsed as priorities for our Health system to address.
