Job description

My client is a specialist geotechnical consultancy in Auckland, and they are looking to add a graduate/junior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to the team.This is a junior-level position where previous experience in a related field will be advantageous, e.g. 1+ years in a geotechnical-based position.
However, it is also open to graduates familiar with New Zealand ground conditions and local standards.The role will have a lot of diversity, working on a variety of different projects.
There will be a mixture of office-based design work and on-site investigation.
You will be directly supported by the senior geotechnical engineers of the business who have decades of knowledge and experience.RequirementsRelevant engineering degreeWillingness to learn and develop skillsKeen interest in both design and, importantly, fieldworkPhysically fit for site workGood communication skillsFluent English speaking and writingWith a fantastic culture and strong reputation in the market, this is an awesome opportunity to join a reputable business and kick-start your career!
