**About the Role**
We are looking for a passionate **Graduate Geotechnical Engineer** **/ Engineering Geologist** to join our **Ground Engineering** team in **Hamilton** .
You will be required to share your time between site and office tasks gaining valuable experience as you work through the various phases of projects from commencement to completion.
With geotechnical engineering being a part of so many projects you will interact with other design disciplines, stakeholders, end clients and contractors as the project dictates and have the opportunity for short to longer term interstate or overseas travel if you desire.
**How you'll make a difference:**
+ Assist with geotechnical assessment, design, and reporting including slope stability and settlement assessments.
+ Support the preparation and execution of geotechnical site investigations.
+ Compile and analyse geotechnical data to support design and reporting activities.
+ Conduct soil and rock logging in accordance with NZGS guidelines and produce investigation logs.
+ Assist in the initial preparation of site safety documentation.
**Qualifications**
+ **Bachelor’s Degree:** You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Geology/ Earth Science.
+ **Graduate Year:** You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
+ **Commencement:** You must be able to commence work by February 2026.
We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
