We're doing some pretty cool stuff - turning data into information by providing solutions to stakeholders through GIS applications (customised Web Map Information Portals, dashboards, mobile solutions), quality map production, and data analysis techniques

We're on the hunt for a GIS Analyst / Developer to join our experienced team.

You will be a motivated person driven by turning challenges and opportunities into GIS solutions that add value to the organisation using the full suite of ESRI GIS products and tools.

This role is also responsible for mapping, analysis and data maintenance services for utility network assets and facilities, utilising GIS Desktop and associated interface applications.

We’re a flexible bunch working with a mixture of working from home and in the office from Wellington or Bell Block, New Plymouth.

Qualifications

Along with your relevant qualifications and 5+ years of experience in GIS development, spatial data maintenance and analytics, you'll ideally have experience across:

  • ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS mobile applications, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Utility Network
  • Esri ArcGIS Desktop applications (ArcMap or ArcPRO)
  • Relational databases (SQL preferred)
  • Integration of GIS applications with core business applications
  • Python or Arcade
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • You'll naturally be a great communicator and a willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge with both the team and our internal stakeholders.
