The General Manager Project Delivery (North) position is at the forefront of delivering Edison's strategy.
We are seeking an authentic, energetic, and innovative senior leader to join our thriving business as General Manager - Project Delivery (North).
This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of projects that make a real difference for New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead three of Edison's Project Delivery teams, driving excellence, growth, and collaboration across projects, clients, and teams.
As General Manager of Project Delivery, you will oversee project teams and empower them to deliver exceptional outcomes while driving business growth through proactive business development and the ongoing creation of innovative service offerings.
You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, growing existing opportunities, and shaping solutions that differentiate our services.
This role offers a senior leadership position within a growing and successful New Zealand business, supported by a diverse and highly capable team of approximately 85 professionals, all guided by an experienced and dedicated leadership team.
Flexible location: can be based in Auckland or Hamilton.

You will have:
Proven experience in people leadership, including developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
Proven business development experience, with the ability to quickly build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Strong strategic thinking, innovation, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated success leading project delivery teams.
Customer and people centric approach.
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.
Alignment with Edison's values: respect and integrity, open communication, positivity, growth mindset, and can-do attitude.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
