Do you have the ability to lead others, coordinate daily operations, and help shape a new service from the ground up?
We are seeking a Frontline Station Support Team Leader to support and lead the transition to a newly established in-house reception and access control function at Police National Headquarters (PNHQ).
This opportunity is based in Wellington and reports through to the National Command and Coordination Centre (NCCC).

Key Accountabilities:

* Coordinate and support the delivery of front-of-house services including visitor and contractor management, access card issuance, and building entry protocols.

* Ensure professional and consistent service aligned with Police values and sector expectations.

* Maintain oversight of physical security protocols, including CCTV monitoring and duress alarm procedures.

* Assist with rostering, onboarding, and day-to-day support of team members.

* Contribute to continuous improvement and integration with broader NCCC operations.

* Support the transition from contracted services to an in-house model, ensuring continuity and professionalism throughout.

* You must hold a current New Zealand driver’s licence and able to obtain a Bronze PPDP grading.

* You must reside within a commutable distance to Wellington.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence at $80,295.
