Job description

Front of House Staff – Rakaia, Canterbury Region

We are currently seeking two Front of House team members for our restaurant located in the Canterbury region (Rakaia).

We offer:

  • A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
  • A pay rate between $24–$28 per hour , depending on experience

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and enthusiastic team players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements
  • Maintain the safety and well-being of both customers and staff within hospitality areas
  • Perform daily duties including food preparation, service, cash handling, and general cleaning as per set standards and schedules
  • Ensure bar and catering facilities are properly secured when not in use
  • Maintain accurate stock records in line with operational procedures
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards for the storage and sale of food and beverages
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • No qualification is required, previous hospitality experience is welcomed but not essential – full training will be provided
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to pick things up quickly
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and strong team spirit
