Urgent! Freight Processing Agent Job Opening In Christchurch – Now Hiring Programmed



Job description

  • Varied duties - from freight processing to Reception work
  • Active role - computer work plus physical tasks (lifting up to 25kgs)
  • Payrate $23.97ph + 8% holiday pay

We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our client as a HIC Agent, working primarily in our warehouse and supporting freight operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing inbound and outbound shipments on a daily basis at Reception
  • Retrieving freight for Reception (RT runner duties).
  • Contacting customers to resolve undeliverable shipment issues.
  • Handling damaged freight and Lost & Found shipments.
  • Providing support across departments when required (Reception, Data Entry, etc.).

What we're looking for:

  • Computer literate (2-3 hours of computer work per shift).
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs (this is essential).
  • Flexible with covering shifts when needed.
  • A team player with a proactive and can-do attitude.
