This will contribute to growing a healthier Aotearoa and ultimately a healthier world.We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Food Safety & Quality Advisor to join our Nelson based team on a fixed term basis for 14 months for parental leave cover.
Reporting to the Food Safety & Quality Manager, this role will play a pivotal leading part in ensuring our practices and processes are effectively implemented through engagement, training, and education of our teams on all things food safety.ResponsibilitiesInternal & External AuditsCalibrationProduct testingDocument controlCorrective action managementQualificationsA qualification in Food Technology/Science or a similar field3-5 years' experience working in a food processing environmentConfident communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersPassionate about food safety and committed to consistently delivering excellent service to customersExperience in the creation and verification of HACCP plans and auditing internal systems is beneficialTo be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret results and standards and use your initiative to resolve detailed and complex problems.
