About The Position


We are currently seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our growing Trades team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll complete flooring projects across a diverse range of public sector sites—delivering high-quality installations, repairs, and finishes across various flooring types.


You’ll work both independently and as part of a wider team alongside carpenters, painters, and project managers, contributing to renovation and maintenance projects with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install vinyl, carpet, timber, tile, and laminate flooring
  • Prepare surfaces, level floors, and install underlay
  • Carry out flooring repairs, patching, and replacements
  • Deliver high-quality finishes that meet safety and spec standards
  • Collaborate with other trades across project delivery
  • Complete documentation, job records, and client handovers
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in residential and/or commercial flooring
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Solid knowledge of flooring tools, adhesives, and finishes
  • Ability to read floor plans and follow installation specs
  • Full (Class 1) New Zealand Driver Licence
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and team mindset
