We are looking for3 Floor Layerer to join us.
If you enjoy installing or extending life of the existing flooring of wood, vinyl and carpet, this could be the job for you.
This is a permanent full-time position working minimum hours of 30 per week.
You may be required to work extra hours as required.
You may be required to work from Monday to Sunday and may be roasted from for the morning or afternoon as required.
The applicant has experience in floor installaton will be preferred.
You will be hired at a competitive wage rate of $30 to $35 per hour.
Day to Day duties may include but are not limited to:
Measure areas to be covered and consulting plans to estimate quantities of floor covering materials required
Clean and preparing surfaces for covering and removing any hurdles or trims
Measure, cut and fix underlay materials.
Lay coverings, such as carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles and other resilient flooring materials, over floors, matching patterns, cutting shapes around fixtures and trimming edges
Secure floor coverings and fitting edge trims in doorways
Sand, stain and apply finishing coatings to timber/vinyle floors
You may be required to install wall, ceiling, counter and bench coverings as required
Any other job duties required by the business relevant to your job
Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant Level 4 qualification or 3 Years of relevenat expereinceBe able to complete a pre-employment drug test and have no past or pending criminalconvictions.Be available on weekends.Be available to travel and stay overnight at work locations.Be available on public holidays if required.Be well organised with good time management.Be honest and should have a positive and mature attitude.
