Job Overview

JENSEN HUGHES is seeking a Fire Services Design Engineer in Auckland.

This highly visible role within the organization will report to the Director.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Designing Automated Fire sprinkler systems
  • Liaising with builders and sprinkler fitters
  • Designing Automated Fire Alarm Systems
  • Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of New Zealand standards and the BCA.
  • Experienced in design in of fire protection systems.
  • Computer design knowledge with AutoCAD software
  • Revit knowledge an advantage.
  • Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
