Finance Manager to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).
About the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance function for Te Awa Kairangi, a major infrastructure alliance.
You’ll manage a small team, own financial reporting, and be the key link between the project and head office.
Lead and develop the Accounts Payable teamOwn monthly progress claims and subcontractor assessmentsDeliver accurate cost coding, forecasting, and reportingProvide financial insight and support to project managersLiaise with auditors and ensure compliance with alliance standardsMaintain cashflow visibility and drive financial governanceWhat you’ll bring to the roleStrong project-based finance experience within construction industryConfidence managing AP and financial reporting end-to-endAbility to work with auditors and senior stakeholdersExperience with claims, cost tracking, and forecastingA practical mindset and clear communication styleCA qualification is a bonus, but not essentialAbout Te Awa Kairangi Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.
Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.
Design is underway and construction is due to commence in late .
