About the Role
Join IAG NZ as a Finance Business Partner – Drive impact where it matters most.
This is a hands-on role where you will influence outcomes through deep analysis and commercial acumen.
You'll work closely with business leaders to shape financial performance and decision-making.
You'll prepare monthly performance packs that highlight key financial metrics and market impacts, and you'll own tracking budgets against actuals—spotting trends, identifying variances, and recommending smart actions to keep performance on track.
You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and business case development, challenging assumptions, uncovering opportunities, and driving productivity improvements.
Build trusted relationships across finance and the wider business to become a go-to advisor for strategic financial insights.
You'll champion process enhancements to streamline operations and improve the experience for internal stakeholders and customers.
This is a 1 year fixed term opportunity and you'll need to be based in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland).
About You
To be successful in this role, we're seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Well demonstrated experience in a finance role
Business partnering experience, preferably in the financial services industry
Analytical, numerate and attention to detail
Ability to influence outcomes with managers at all levels
Ability to develop effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
