What you'll be doingThis is a busy and varied role, based at Centre Place, where you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operations and maintenance of the Centre.Key accountabilities of the roleRisk Management and Compliance – Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, building standards and related regulations.
Managing hazard and emergency systems, overseeing insurance claims, and maintaining a strong safety culture.Operations and Maintenance – Overseeing day-to-day building operations to ensure high functionality and presentation of the Centre.
Managing contractors and in-house resources for maintenance works, ensuring quality, cost control and timely delivery.
Maintaining asset registers, operating manuals, tenancy manuals and emergency procedures.Services Delivery – Managing security services and systems to ensure customer, retailer and staff safety.
Overseeing cleaning, landscaping, repairs, and presentation-related services, while negotiating and managing contracts to achieve quality and cost efficiency.Financial and Reporting – Tracking expenditure against budgets, preparing operational reports, and contributing to OPEX and Capex budgets.
Supporting NOI reporting, forecasts, and ensuring accurate documentation for insurance claims and operational performance.Sustainability – Delivering sustainability initiatives and improvement targets, while monitoring Centre performance against these measures.Fit-out Management – Managing tenancy fit-out and de-fit processes in line with company manuals and reviewing alterations in collaboration with tenancy coordinators.Health and Safety – Taking all practicable steps to ensure a safe working environment, including adherence to policies, hazard reporting, use of PPE, and participation in required training.About you and your experienceThree years plus experience in facilities management ideally in retailWorking knowledge of health & safety in regard to buildingsWorking knowledge of building systemsGrowth mindset, positive attitude, and customer-focusAbility to build strong relationships within and across teamAbility to manage and prioritise time and workWhat we offerSupportive work environment that fosters work life balanceDiscounted Southern Cross Health Insurance.Flu vaccinationsOnsite parkingDay off on your birthdayOne day volunteer leavePaid parental leave for primary carerPlus working with passionate and dedicated on-site teamKiwi Property values diversity, inclusivity, and empathy.
