About the Role:

In this role based out of our Data Centre in Silverdale, Auckland you will be essential to the daily management of CDC data centers, overseeing site logistics, physical security, general maintenance, facility presentation, through a range of administrative and scheduling activities.

You will work closely with the CDC operations team to deliver a superior customer experience and uphold secure, uninterrupted facility operations.

This role involves overseeing a range of scheduling tasks and providing hands-on site support to ensure the continuous operation and maintenance of our CDC data centres.

  • Ensure all facilities maintenance activities adhere to approved workplans, maintaining building compliance.

  • Administer activities such as parking allocation, waste disposal, and building security, ensuring adherence to emergency and health and safety regulations and CDC policy.

  • Uphold the presentation and upkeep of facilities, overseeing caretakers and contracted staff.

  • Manage logistics within the facilities, collaborating with the Operations team to enforce security protocols and standards.

  • Conduct inspections for repairs or renovations of facility structures, coordinating access for clients, guests, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Promote and enforce safe work practices, oversee staff as directed by management, and represent the company professionally.

About you: 

We're on the lookout for someone proactive and motivated, ready to dive into a fast-paced, hands-on facilities environment.

You'll play a vital part in shaping process, best practice and culture from the ground up.

We’re especially keen to hear from those with experience in facilities or property management, particularly in critical or large-scale environments, with a strong track record in managing building compliance and safety obligations, as well as overseeing the defects liability period to ensure timely and effective resolution of post-construction issues.

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience in scheduling or coordination of contractors and external vendors
  • Experience working with building compliance legislation is highly desirable
  • Confidently use a computer along with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, Office Management or Security Management is highly desirable
  • Experience identifying and managing building defects, with a strong understanding of compliance and rectification processes

Essential:

  • NZ Citizenship or PR with ability to obtain a NZ Security Clearance.
