Expression of Interest - Senior Transport Planners/EngineersWSP is seeking expressions of interest from senior transport planners and engineers for roles based in Auckland and Hamilton.
You will join a Transport Infrastructure team that works with a diversified client base to visualise and achieve project goals with commitment, integrity and innovation.

You will collaborate with wider Transport teams nationally and internationally to deliver strategic projects and provide transport planning support on projects around the country.Roles typically involve working with clients, preparing and leading investment cases and scheme assessments, and delivering transportation studies, modelling, economic evaluation, and related tasks across multiple transport modes.
The rolesDevelop and lead investment cases and scheme assessments for transport projects in accordance with NZTA or appropriate client procedures.Develop and lead transportation assessments, investigations, strategy studies, feasibility studies, traffic/transport modelling, economic evaluation, scheme assessments and other tasks related to all transportation modes.Manage assigned projects to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client needs and expectations.Lead and contribute to project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and required quality, contributing to project profitability.Plan and scope projects with appropriate inputs, outputs and verification activities.Handle administrative tasks including reporting on job progress and budget.Perform verification activities and technical reviews of projects and tasks.Ensure designs, drawings, strategy development and recommendations achieve desired outcomes and that outputs are properly prepared and monitored.Prepare fee estimates and negotiate fees with clients to maintain profitable operations.Engage in business development activities, including client meetings and events, under the leadership of client relationship managers.Liaise with staff from related WSP transportation teams across New Zealand and globally to support project work and business development where applicable.About you5-15 years' professional experience within transportation infrastructure, transport engineering and planning.Relevant tertiary qualification.Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects through full lifecycle, delivering to quality, on time and within budget.Proven experience developing business cases and leading project proposals.WSP is working on major infrastructure projects across New Zealand, including Roads of National Significance (RoNS) and Roads of Regional Significance (RoRS).
