Job description

MinterEllisonRuddWatts is looking for a professional, highly capable, Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Chief Executive.

The successful applicant will undertake a broad variety of tasks including:

  • Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments and coordinating meetings
  • Prioritising conflicting needs, handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through to successful completion (often with deadline pressures)
  • Composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential in nature
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Arranging detailed travel plans
  • Working closely with the Chief Executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Five to seven years' administrative experience in a position with similar duties and responsibility, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to deal with pressure and manage competing priorities
  • A personable, approachable and friendly manner
  • Ability to form and maintain good working relationships, both internal and external
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, a high degree of initiative and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
