We’re looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join our Regulatory Services Unit on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover parental leave.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that offers a great mix of office-based and field work, including visiting food premises and responding to public health concerns.
You’ll work with a diverse range of customers and businesses across Hamilton, helping to protect public health and ensure food safety.

Note: While the preference is for a fully qualified Environmental Health Officer, we’re also open to applicants who meet the requirements to be recognised as a verifier under the Food Act 2014.
Salary will reflect the applicant’s qualifications and experience.

The salary for this role starting salary is $90,000 with flexibility to negotiate depending on qualifications and experience.
