Job description

About the Company:

At One New Zealand, the purpose is clear: to unlock the magic of technology and build a better-connected Aotearoa.

The focus is on delivering simpler, smarter products and services that genuinely make life better for New Zealanders.
One New Zealand proudly champions diversity of thought, background, and perspective.

You'll find a welcoming, inclusive culture and flexible working practices designed to help you thrive—both personally and professionally.

Whether it’s time for whānau or space to grow your career, they’ll support what works for you.
They also have a bold ambition: to become the most AI-empowered telco on the planet.

With significant investment in AI—including tools like CoPilot, their game-changing AI assistant—they’re not just transforming how they work, but also actively building the digital capability of every team member.

It’s an exciting time to join a business that’s redefining the future of telecommunications through innovation and impact.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Manager who thrives in high-impact environments – someone who combines strategic thinking with the ability to lead from the front and deliver results.

Reporting to the GM Sales, you’ll take ownership of an Auckland-based Enterprise sales team, driving revenue growth through smart leadership, strong client relationships, and a focus on performance.

You’ll own the sales strategy across the Enterprise Corporate segment, ensuring it aligns with One NZ’s broader commercial objectives – with clear accountability for driving both revenue and margin growth across the portfolio.

It’s a chance to step into a critical role with real influence, leading a team through transformation and setting the benchmark for what success looks like in the Enterprise space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the team to hit growth and retention targets across Enterprise Corporate clients.

  • Actively coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals – leading by example, attending meetings with them, and lifting capability.

  • Help bring structure and momentum to a team that’s ready to be challenged.

  • Build and own strong relationships with executives and Boards – both internally and externally.

  • Collaborate across teams, including with the Wellington & South Island Sales Manager and the (Auckland-based) New Business Sales Manager.
