Twizel Area School is seeking a passionate English teacher to join our team for a fixed-term maternity leave position.
The ability to teach social studies would be an advantage.
This is an exciting time to join our school, with a brand-new, purpose-built campus opening in January 2026 that will enhance teaching and learning across all year levels.
Our school is a Y1–13 composite, serving a diverse and resilient student population.
Students come from a range of backgrounds including farming, tourism, and outdoor-focused lifestyles, contributing to a grounded and engaged learning environment.
This role will be teaching predominantly in the Y9–13 space.
We’re looking for someone who:
