Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity6 month Fixed-Term OpportunityWe are seeking experienced and adaptable English language teachers to join our dynamic team at ELA on a fixed term basis.
You will deliver high-quality instruction across a range of programmes including Academic English, English Pathway Programmes, General English, Business English, and English for Specific Purposes.
Teaching may be delivered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats, across morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.You'll be part of a collaborative teaching environment, contributing to curriculum planning, student support, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the student experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective English language teaching across ELA programmesPrepare and plan lessons in line with course objectives and student needsUse technology and innovative methods to support learning outcomesComplete administrative tasks including attendance, assessment, reporting, and LMS updatesParticipate in student orientation, graduations, and extracurricular activitiesContribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processesSupport team initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goalsThis is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week six month fixed-term role.
