The Opportunity
As an Engineering Manager, you run several locally based teams.
You are a People Leader, comfortable with managing project delivery, coaching teams, have an agile mindset, and a clear understanding of the business' bigger picture.
You enjoy a little technical discussion around the whiteboard and ideally will have some experience in the Energy Market.
You play a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating everyone in the Delivery Engineering group to be the best they can be.
You work closely with the Customer Success Managers, Project Managers, and Architects.
You lead a group of ***** people in the Delivery Engineering group, comprising 2-4 autonomous teams.
While the majority of your interactions will be local, you'll have the ability to form relationships and collaborate across time zones.
The Specifics
You will communicate the work you and your team do effectively to stakeholders, senior leaders, and the wider business.
You will connect the work we are doing to the wider business context and business strategy, so that each week people leave with a feeling that their contributions made an impact.
You will help attract quality candidates, work with teams to make meaningful hiring decisions, and welcome new team members.
You will coach and support the continuous improvement of cross functional autonomous T-shaped scrum teams.
You will understand the engineering demands on your teams and ensure they are met in terms of quality, time, cost, and outcome.
Recognise gaps in our Delivery Engineering process and propose and support changes to address them.
You will foster the evolution of the Delivery Engineering team culture in a growing organization
You drive change within the organisation, and foster a positive culture of continuous improvement
You will facilitate team growth through an experiment and learn mindset to ensure that the team is always looking for a better way.
You will create an inclusive, and diverse environment where people can do their best work.
You will drive individual growth through recognition, opportunities, and incentives.

Assist and support Customer Success by effectively handling assigned service requests and defects for customers both internal and external.
Manage and prioritise customer requests in an effective and sustainable manner to build and strengthen customer relationships.
To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.
Take reasonable care of your own and other people's Health & Safety in the workplace.
Report all incidents and hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your Health & Safety at risk promptly.
In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader.
