EDRMS Administrator - fixed-term, 12 months

Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term EDRMS Administrator to join our Records and Information team within the Operations Group based in Ngaruawahia.
You'll bring to the role both a mix of experience and passion for system administration and will ensure that our record keeping policies and systems continue to follow best practice.
Ideally you will have previous experience working in local government, a tertiary qualification in records management, information technology or related discipline or a minimum of three years' experience in a records or systems administration role.
We seek an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join this team who will bring their organised and process driven approach to help drive the team's business and deliver liveable, thriving and connected communities - our Council's Vision.
You will add value to our council by ensuring our EDRMS and its integrated applications are maintained accurately within legislative guidelines and updated with new developments.
The primary focus of this role is providing technical systems management, user support and training for the council's EDRMS, and its integrated applications.
You will provide key support to council project teams and use initiative and analytical skills to develop creative solutions within the records management framework.
Key attributes sought for this role include being highly organised and having and eye for detail, proficiency with EDRMS, integrated systems and digitisation technology.
It is essential that you have a high level of computer literacy, particularly in cloud-based systems, proven ability in analytical thinking and problem solving, and well developed interpersonal and relationship skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent judgement and communication skills, have the ability to be innovative within the records management regulatory framework, and to adapt to changing circumstances.
The ideal applicant will have a broad range of experience in EDRMS and its integrated applications administration, knowledge of the Public Records Act 2005, and digitisation systems and equipment.
