      Urgent! Editor Position in Auckland - Stoppress
Lead the storytelling that brings brands to life, content that inspires audiences and drives results .

As ourEditor, you'll lead the creation and delivery of high-quality, engaging, and commercially effective content across print, digital, video, and social channels.
You'll combine editorial leadership with creative strategy and project management to deliver outstanding work for our clients, content that engages audiences, strengthens relationships, and achieves measurable results.
What you'll do
Lead editorial direction and audience engagement across SCG's client content portfolio.
Collaborate with the CEO, Content Director, and creative teams to execute strategic content plans.
Deliver projects – from magazines and websites to social, video, and events – on time, to budget, and to brief.
Manage and commission journalists, photographers, writers, and freelancers.
Build and maintain disciplined editorial processes and cohesive content plans.
Guide the Digital Manager to grow digital and social audiences through smart content marketing.
Develop creative commercial initiatives to support client campaigns.
Craft and edit compelling content that's ready for publication.
Bring a passion for design, interiors, and colour into everything you do.
What you'll bring
A formal journalism or media qualification (or equivalent experience).
Proven ability to create content that drives engagement and commercial outcomes.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for accuracy and detail.
Experience in branded content and digital publishing, including CMS and EDMs.
Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
Skilled at leading creative contractors and freelancers.
Deep understanding of social and digital performance metrics.
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset – dependable, proactive, and driven.
A passion for homes, design, and colour, with a finger on the pulse of emerging trends.
