As a Dog Handler, you will be responsible for the daily care and supervision of the dogs in our facility, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well-cared for.
You will assist with various tasks around the facility, including feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after the dogs.Locations:Woofland Farm – Riverhead, Auckland (10 minutes drive from Albany Village)Woofland Urban – Wairau Road, North Shore, AucklandAbout Woofland:Woofland is a leading dog daycare and boarding facility offering a loving, safe, and enriching environment for dogs.
We're currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join us as a Regular Dog Handler.Position Overview – Dog Handler:This role involves the daily care and supervision of dogs, ensuring their safety, happiness, and wellbeing.
You'll also assist with feeding, exercising, basic washing, and maintaining a clean and organised facility.Key Responsibilities:Care for both small and large dogs, including feeding, exercising, and ensuring their safetyPerform basic dog washing (note: not professional grooming)Monitor dog behaviour and wellbeing, responding appropriatelyKeep the facility clean and tidy, including waste cleanupAssist with dog check-in and check-out proceduresCommunicate clearly with team members and dog ownersWhat We're Looking For:A genuine love for dogs and dedication to their careConfidence in working with dogs of all sizesBasic dog washing skills to return dogs clean to their ownersPrevious dog care experience preferred but not essentialReliability, flexibility, and a positive, team-focused attitudeBasic verbal and written communication skillsA valid work permit and full NZ driver's licenceHow to Apply:Email your CV and a short cover letter to ****** , telling us about your experience and why you'd be a great fit.Join us and enjoy working outdoors with happy dogs in a fun, supportive team!
