About the role: 

As our District Manager based in Palmerston North, you'll play a crucial role inspiring a team of talented individuals across both water and hygiene sectors in the food & beverage market to achieve their full potential.

You'll be responsible for driving performance, looking after senior relationships with key customers and fostering a culture of excellence.

You will guide and develop a dedicated team of Account Managers who provide cleaning, sanitising, water expertise and operational efficiency solutions to clients in the dairy, brewing, beverage, protein and food processing industries across the lower North Island.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensure your team of sales professionals reaches sales targets and objectives.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their career goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share within your district.

  • Manage and develop relationships with our client base across the region

  • Ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of business excellence to customers 

  • Bringing Ecolab’s value-added services and innovation programs to assist our customers meet their business goals

    Our ideal candidate may have: 

  • Experience guiding and developing successful sales teams 

  • Experience or exposure to the water industry and food & beverage processing 

  • Experience overseeing teams across a diverse territory 

  • Ability to build, maintain and retain customer relationships across all levels

  • A full and valid driver’s license 

  • The ability to travel with overnight stays
