The Role:

As a Line Mechanic, you will ensure the construction andmaintenance of electrical lines meet customer and network requirements promptly
and effectively.
In this role, you will report to the Supervisor and be based
in Tauranga, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
Your top priority will be the
safety of yourself and those around you.
You will also be responsible for:
- Assisting with work plans and ensure that relevant field paperwork is
completed as necessary
- The installation and replacement of electricity network pole / tower
structures and overhead conductors
- The operation of ground and structure mounted electrical equipment associated
with electric lines up to 33kV
- Overhauling non-load-bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 110kV
- The installation and replacement of electricity network pole structures and
overhead conductors.

Experience:
You will be working on a variety of exciting projects and may have to do some
occasional weekend work.
To be successful in this role, it is essential to have
the following:
- Assist with work plans and ensure that relevant field paperwork is completed
as necessary
- Current NZ EWRB registration licence would be preferred
- At least two years of solid work experience under your belt
- A valid Class 2 driver’s license OR Class 4 driver’s license
- A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with
a strong focus to health & safety
- Ability to communicate and work under minimum supervision.
