Digital Strategy and Partnering (DSP) is launching the new Digital Internship programme for the Digital Services Division in 2026.
The main focus of our intern programme is to give you the opportunity to learn about digital ecosystem including technology, process and people in a large organisation.
You’ll be hands-on for the majority of tasks you complete, gaining valuable experience to add to your professional portfolio.
Alongside this, you’ll benefit from exceptional professional development to help you stand out in the digital job market after your internship.
You’ll have the opportunity to move across some or all of our Digital departments: from IT Assurance & Cyber Security to Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture and Digital Projects – you’ll see it all.
Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on the projects and activities underway.
You might be:
• Deploying and setting up computers for staff
• Researching options and documenting recommendations
• Working in one of our datacentres
• Investigating systems and updating code
• Assisting with campus-wide project work
• Supporting staff and students with general enquiries

We are looking for:
• Willingness to learn - if you want to learn, we can teach you
• Some experience in Digital Services - through study, work or volunteering
• Enjoyment of customer service and interacting with a range of people
• Passion for Digital Services and a desire to know more
Both full-time and part-time roles are available to suit a range of circumstances.

The salary level for this position is Digital Salary Scale A1.1: $64,481 (pro-rata where appropriate)
