About the role

The Digital Account Manager (DAM) takes responsibility for the digital planning and buying for an account, or portfolio of accounts, and contributes to a team comprising planner/buyers across all media channels.

Led by the Business Director and Business Manager, this team works together with specialist business units to deliver against agreed business results for the Client portfolio.

The role may also include responsibility for digital upskilling and operational improvements within the Client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital media plans across SEM, SEO, programmatic buying, social, mobile and other digital disciplines.

  • Set up campaigns, track performance, and produce reporting and evaluation.

  • Negotiate and manage digital media buying with external agencies and platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet client objectives and optimise media spend.

  • Support digital upskilling initiatives and process improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in digital media communications or similar industry.

  • Experience in digital media planning and implementation – digital media formats, metrics, buying, campaign set‑up, tracking capabilities, reporting and evaluation.

  • Understanding of all digital disciplines (SEM, SEO, programmatic buying, social, mobile, etc.).

  • Knowledge of media and billing systems e.g. DFA/DART, Sizmek (Mediamind), Nielsen NetRatings, Google Tools (Analytics), Facebook, Google Partners Certification is an advantage.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong numerical, statistical and analytical skills.
