If you're passionate about innovation and safety, we'd love to welcome you aboard.As a DevOps Engineer in our Digital Services team, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining KiwiRail's digital applications – especially within Dynamics 365, CRM and Microsoft Power Platforms.This role blends hands-on development with system support.
You'll design new features, improve existing applications, and ensure reliable performance of our business-critical platforms.
Whether it's troubleshooting issues or optimising user experiences, you'll make sure our digital tools work smoothly and efficiently for teams across KiwiRail.You'll also collaborate closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, contributing to projects, continuous improvement, and innovation.We're looking for someone who is technically skilled and a great team player.
You'll bring:Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, CRM and Microsoft Power PlatformsProven ability to provide support for IT applications and troubleshoot issuesFamiliarity with ALM practices, version control, and deployment pipelinesUnderstanding of ITIL, COBIT, or LEAN principlesExcellent communication and documentation skillsA focus on safety, customer needs, and continuous improvementMicrosoft certificationExperience with system design or database conceptsRelevant tertiary qualificationA current New Zealand driver's licenceWe welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
