This role involves approximately one third of the employee's time spent writing code/programming.What you'll doDevelop custom solutions, including planning, controlling and reporting on progress.Design, code, test and install applications programs in one major language or across multiple platforms.Develop operating and system documentation.Collaborate with team members and users to evaluate application requirements.Ensure systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and meet design and security standards.Oversee analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of programs for enterprise or end-user applications.Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.Monitor the performance and availability of systems hardware and software.Install, test and maintain new or modified systems software.Analyze and rectify operating systems problems.What you'll bringExpert knowledge of software and performance monitoring techniques.
Strong financial management practices with understanding of costs, utilization and project revenue.5+ years in Software Development, with at least 3 years in a large IT site.Advanced skills in one or more major programming languages (Reactjs, JavaScript, .Net, C#, PowerShell, SQL development tools).
Advanced skills and knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and SharePoint.Ability to understand essential needs of users and translate into well-designed programs.Good time and resource management, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent customer relationship building and management skills, plus effective presentation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.Consultative and planning skills with the ability to escalate with a solution focus.Why join usDatacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
