We're looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our Auckland office based support team where you'll provide face-to-face technical support as well as remote support to Kiwibank staff around the country.
Responsibilities
Positive, can-do attitude with great communication skills.
Well-established set of technical troubleshooting skills and willingness to develop further.
Typical day: readying laptops for deployment, working on mobile phone issues (Apple or Android), assisting with AVVC equipment in meeting rooms, solving software configuration issues.
Chance to contribute to projects such as rolling out Windows 11.
Key skills and experience we're looking for:
Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Able to work as part of a close-knit team as well as autonomously.
Solid I.T troubleshooting skills and an understanding of computer networking fundamentals.
In-depth experience of using and supporting Microsoft Windows *******, AD/EntraID, Intune, M365 and other common Microsoft products.
Apple Mac knowledge would be a bonus.
Familiarity with MS Teams based meeting room technology.
A relevant qualification in Information Technology is preferred along with at least two years' experience in a similar role.
Willing to be part of an on-call roster.
Nice to have:
PowerShell scripting, ServiceNow, Citrix Technology, Confluence and general skills using Microsoft Azure.
Previous experience in a financial services or banking environment.
