Job description

As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.
Service Foods Auckland branch, located in Mangere- near Auckland Airport, urgently needs a dedicated, hardworking Class 2 Delivery Driver to join its busy fleet team.
Full-time permanent role.
Shift: Rostered between Monday and Saturday (5-6 Days a week)
Hours: ************ am start (8-10 hour shift depending on runs)
Location: Ihumatao Road, Mangere, Auckland
Immediate start

The job:
You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around Tamaki Makaurau, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.
Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
Unload and deliver products, ensuring they are transported securely and safely.
Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirements
Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF, etc.
Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required
Help the warehouse team if needed
The candidate:
You will have the following skills and attributes.
A full Class 2 driver's license, and must be able to drive a manual transmission
Have clear communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of the wider Auckland region and its surrounding areas is a plus
Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
Clean driving and criminal records
Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients
Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgs
Possess good organizational and time management skills
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Have reliable transport for the commute
