Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on manager to lead and deliver data analytics projects across deal lifecycle engagements.

The role sits at the intersection of commercial, financial and technical disciplines and supports clients to make better, data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of analytics workstreams on Deals engagements, including buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, corporate finance mandates and value creation projects.

  • Design analytical solutions – develop data models and visualisations that explain key business drivers (revenue, margin, working capital, workforce, customer behaviour).

  • Build and automate workflows using Alteryx; create interactive dashboards in Power BI; perform advanced data analysis in Python and other analytical tools.

  • Combine analytical outputs with financial understanding to provide meaningful insights into business performance, trends and valuation drivers.

  • Coach junior team members in analytics techniques and storytelling with data.

  • Configure and deliver projects using PwC’s Data Studio, a cloud‑based data platform, establishing one source of truth and improving reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics within professional services, consulting or a corporate environment; prior experience within a Big Four firm or Deals/Transaction environment is highly regarded.

  • Strong hands‑on skills in Alteryx (data preparation, transformation, automation), Power BI (data modelling and visualisation), Excel (financial analysis and modelling) and Python (advanced analytics).

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, key accounting concepts and commercial value drivers.

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with PwC tools such as Data Studio and Workbench or similar cloud‑based analytics platforms.

  • Enthusiasm for working in cross‑functional teams, exploring new technologies and developing scalable analytics offerings.
