• Collaborate proactively with data insights specialists, architects, stakeholders, and wider business units to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
  
  
• Monitor the performance, quality, and reliability of all data pipelines while implementing improvements to optimise operational efficiency.
  
  
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, flat files, and databases to create unified datasets that support comprehensive analytics.
  
  
• Apply best practices in data governance by ensuring optimal data quality, integrity, version control, master data management, and compliance with security standards.
  
  
• Provide technical guidance to peers while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of overall data engineering practices within the team.
  
  
• Support business users by developing self-service data pipelines that enable informed decision-making throughout the organisation.

• Advanced SQL skills coupled with practical experience managing large-scale datasets for analytics purposes.
  
  
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Python or Bash enabling automation of routine tasks within complex workflows.
  
  
• Familiarity with orchestration tools as well as CI/CD pipelines supporting efficient deployment cycles for new features or updates.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to clarify requirements from inception through completion while working collaboratively on projects involving multiple stakeholders.
