This is a permanent, full-time role focused on enabling secure, automated, and governed data connectivity across our digital ecosystem.
You'll be working alongside our data, systems, and infrastructure engineers to design and implement robust integrations, APIs, and data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services.

You'll contribute to shaping how data is used and shared across the Council.
You'll help develop reusable data models, integration patterns, and best practices that support a wide range of initiatives—from environmental monitoring and reporting to operational efficiency and community engagement.

We have a number of exciting projects underway, and this role will be key to delivering the integration and automation components that underpin them.

A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience.
Proven experience with Azure-based data solutions, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Data Factory, and Synapse.
Experience designing reusable data models (e.g., star or snowflake schemas) to support analytics and reporting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and other tools for integrating legacy systems with Microsoft 365.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
