Talent Acquisition Specialist for DDB Group - Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join DDB Group, working within our strategy & insights team in TRACK.
The role
Work within the TRACK strategy and analytics practice to help develop and deliver analytical solutions that solve clients' business problems.
In this role you will apply statistical techniques, methodologies, and tools to an exciting range of customer datasets from some of New Zealand's biggest brands to generate actionable insights that help our clients increase the volume and value of their customers.
On a day to day basis, you'll be:
Responding to ad-hoc data analysis requests
Dealing with clients, helping to resolve queries
Assisting in the reporting, data gathering and data wrangling
Maintaining and administering our dashboards, integration services and reporting platforms
Documenting procedures and processes
Tracking performance and producing reports
Performing data analysis, extraction, and manipulation
What will you bring?
We're looking for a passionate and driven person who can blend both analytic rigor with an ability to translate and present complex technical solutions that deliver real business benefits for our clients.
The ideal candidate will bring:
2 or 3 years of experience as a data analyst
Proven SQL and Python experience to clean and analyse data
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio or other data visualisation tools
Ability to translate complex data into insights easily understood by non-technical audiences
Knowledge of statistics and predictive analytics
Advanced Microsoft Excel user
Knowledge of cloud tools (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Databricks/Azure) is beneficial
Excellent writing and communication skills: proposals, presentations, project delivery
Excellent attention to detail is essential
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to form good relationships
Ability to adjust and adapt to changes effectively
Fast learner and keen to progress in the world of data analytics/data science
