Customer Support Specialist - Fixed Term Full-time - Auckland SouthJoin Tourism Holdings Limited (thl)Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) is the world's leading provider of holiday vehicles for rent and sale, operating under various brands across Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and the UK.
Our brands include maui, Apollo, Britz, Cheapa Camper, Hippie, Mighty rentals, and more.
We also design motorhomes through Action Manufacturing and create digital products via thl Digital.Objective/Purpose:We are looking for a full-time, fixed term Customer Support Specialist on a 1-year contract to help provide high-quality, on-road customer support by resolving issues and concerns quickly and effectively.
Support the wider business in complaint resolution and process insurance claims using thl's electronic and manual systems.Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional service to customers, contributing to their unforgettable holiday experiencesResolve product or service issues by clarifying the problem, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolutionTailor solutions to balance customer and business requirementsBuild strong relationships with external suppliersMaintain knowledge of thl fleet and the geography of New ZealandComplete assigned tasks accurately, professionally, and promptlyHandle customer complaints positively and escalate appropriately when requiredAct as a Subject Matter Expert for branches and departments in complaint resolutionActively participate in the thl Health and Safety systemRepresent the company in alignment with thl's purpose, vision, and brand pillarsOther duties as required by your managerSkills and Attributes:Analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMulti-tasking and time managementLeadership and coaching abilitiesProblem-solving skillsReliability and adaptabilityProactiveness and continuous improvement mindsetExperience with Microsoft Office applications (D365, Outlook, Excel)Requirements:Relevant qualification in a related field is desirableExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsExperience in managing written correspondence is desirableExperience with complaint resolution is essentialAbility to work under pressureReliable team player able to work collaborativelyWilling to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays with prior noticeAvailable to work on a rotating roster over 7 days - 5 days on 2 days off between 7am - 9pm (hours can be extended over summer period with notice)Competitive wage and comprehensive company benefitsFlexible work environment that embraces travel and experiencesCareer progression opportunities within thlDiverse and inclusive team cultureFree use of Motorhome within 90 days of employmentReady to Join Our Team?
