Customer Services Representative

Job description

We’re growing! Our Customer Service team at UCC Coffee is looking for two new team members - one to join us full-time, and another to jump in for a 3 month fixed-term contract to help us navigate a peak period of volume and activity.

Whether you’re looking to grow your customer service experience long-term or you're ready to jump in and make an immediate impact, we’ve got a role that could be right for you.

Full-Time Customer Service Representative - Permanent

This is a fast-paced, full-time role based in our East Tamaki office with some flexibility for hybrid working after an initial induction period, where you'll be the first point of contact for our customers across New Zealand.

You’ll handle order processing, service queries, logistics coordination, and consumer communication.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team and working across our sales, warehousing, and operations functions.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a contact centre or B2B customer service environment
  • Confidence with ERP or order-entry systems (JDE is a bonus!)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A calm, solutions-focused mindset when things get busy
  • Great communication and a positive, team-focused approach

This role is all about delivering a smooth customer experience – across phone, email, and systems -while helping us uphold our reputation as one of NZ's most recognised names in fresh coffee.

Customer Service Administrator 3-month Fixed Term

We’re also on the lookout for a sharp, organised, and proactive Customer Service Admin to support the team over a 3-month period during a seasonal volume spike.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Key details:

  • 3-month fixed term contract
  • 20 hours per week, spread across 3–4 days
  • Start time from 9am
  • Initial in-office onboarding in East Tamaki, then hybrid flexibility

You’ll be doing (approx.

70% admin / 30% calls):

  • Assigning support tickets and monitoring the customer inbox
  • Processing standard service orders for key accounts
  • Answering customer queries via email and phone
  • Jumping in to support the team with admin and internal systems

This is ideal for someone who enjoys being behind the scenes but is equally comfortable jumping on the phones when needed.

What’s great about working here:

  • A supportive, down-to-earth team who love what they do
  • Coffee - lots of it
  • Exposure to a multi-brand, multi-channel FMCG environment
  • Flexibility where it counts
  • Genuine opportunity to make a difference

Apply now to be considered for either role – just let us know in your application if you’re interested in the full-time role, the fixed-term contract, or open to both.

Note: You must have the right to work in NZ and be able to work from our East Tamaki office during your onboarding period.
