Customer Service Representative Job Opening In Auckland – Now Hiring Auckland Council

The opportunity



We have a full-time opportunity for an empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team based at the North Shore Memorial Park.


The Memorial Park is a place of beauty, reflection, and remembrance for all of those that visit.

Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader, you will be part of a high-performing team working with our communities (customers and stakeholders) managing end to end transactions at the cemetery.



No two days are the same and you will be involved in:

• Helping facilitate the bereavement and funeral process
• Creating and building strong relationship with key stakeholders in your area/community
• Helping assist with genealogy, record keeping and monument requests

This role would suit someone who is an effective and compassionate communicator with great organisational skills.

Our office is open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 4.30pm and flexibility is required due to the nature of the environment.

• Excellent emotional quotient with the ability to create rapport quickly,
• Excited by multi-tasking, juggling, and the ability to prioritise quickly under pressure
• A resilient and empathetic team player with the ability to work collaboratively with your small office team and our operations team
• Proactive problem solver with a desire for ongoing continuous improvement
• Flexibility to work Saturdays on a roster basis and at other cemetery sites if needed

This role is Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.
