At New World Northwood, we’re proud to be a locally owned and operated supermarket that puts our community at the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Customer Service Manager to lead our front‑of‑house team and ensure every customer walks out with a smile.

About the Role:

As Customer Service Manager, you’ll be the face of the store.

You’ll lead by example, manage a large dynamic team, and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer.

From overseeing checkouts, lotto and customer service counters to handling queries and improving processes, this is a hands‑on role that requires passion, strong leadership, and a customer‑first mindset.

This is a full‑time role which would include one weekend day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the Customer Service team to deliver outstanding service
  • Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of checkout and front‑of‑house services
  • Manage customer queries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care
  • Drive a culture of positivity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on service metrics and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with other department managers to ensure seamless store operations
