ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for all Council enquiries in the Contact Centre.Provide superior customer service by solving problems and processing inquiries promptly.Anticipate customer needs and deliver timely, high-quality services.Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Build rapport with internal and external customers and relate to all types of people.Utilize initiative, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Work as part of a team to support council goals and service delivery.Qualifications and SkillsPrevious administration experience.Exceptional customer service skills and a customer service ethic.Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task.Excellent telephone manner and clear verbal communication.Ability to use initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to build rapport with both internal and external customers.Enthusiasm, calm under pressure, professional integrity, and a good sense of humour.Role DetailsThis is a permanent, part-time role of 20 hours per week, based primarily in the Contact Centre.Te Kaunihera o nga Roto o Rotorua (Rotorua Lakes Council) is committed to working in partnership with Te Arawa, our local iwi.
