Whippersnappers Early Learning Centre CanterburyCurriculum leader (non teaching role)Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.5Early learning / kohanga reo, Certificated teacherHauora, Hangarau, Nga Reo, Nga Toi, Te Reo Maori, Te Reo Pakeha, Tikanga a-iwi, Pangarau, Putaiao, Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aoturoa, Well-being / Mana AtuaWe are seeking an experienced and passionate curriculum leader to join our centre in Lincoln, Christchurch and guide our team in delivering high-quality early learning experiences.
This pivotal role provides leadership in curriculum design, assessment, and pedagogy, ensuring our teaching practice reflects the values of Te Whariki and supports tamariki to thrive.As curriculum leader, you will:Provide professional guidance and mentoring to kaiako, fostering reflective practice and collaboration.Lead the implementation and evaluation of curriculum design, planning, and documentation.Ensure consistency and high standards across assessment and planning, with strong alignment to regulatory and licensing requirements.Work in partnership with whanau, kaiako, and the leadership team to support meaningful learning outcomes for all tamariki.We are looking for someone who:Holds a recognised ECE teaching qualification and current teacher registration.Has proven leadership experience in curriculum development and team mentoring.Is committed to bicultural practice and to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and coaching skills.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a meaningful impact on our centre's learning culture and support our kaiako to grow and excel.If you are ready to step into a role where your expertise will shape the learning journey of both kaiako and tamariki, we would love to hear from you.Please send your CV, and direct enquiries to:Type: Education & Care ServiceMaximum licenced places: 80Physical address:53 Edward Street, Lincoln, Christchurch
