Overview

Court Registry Support Officer – District Court North Shore, Albany, Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland

Permanent, part time 40 hours per two weeks (fortnight).

Work day hours are negotiable, Monday to Friday

Ō Haeata/The Opportunity

As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day-to-day operations by supporting the administration function and providing customer service.

Duties will include visits to the local Prison once every two weeks, location is North Shore District Court criminal registry.

You will work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take Court and manage case files.

Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • providing timely and efficient customer service
  • supporting Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroom
  • introducing Judges/Judicial Officers into court (in both English and Te Reo Māori)
  • support the jury service function and the jurors themselves for trial hearings
  • providing general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • managing the incoming and outgoing mail
  • managing evidence exhibits
  • data entry
  • providing support and advice to our diverse customer base.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven customer service experience.

You will need to be confident, able to multitask, flexible and easily adapt to change.

You will also enjoy a challenge and be motivated to learn.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The remuneration band for this role is $55,343 to $74,416 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
