Permanent Part-time opportunity (20.4 Hours per week)

Our School of Health & Counselling is seeking a highly motivated Counsellor with a minimum of three years' practice experience (or significant equivalent counselling experience) who is a current member of NZAC or NZCCA.
We are looking for someone who either has a background in teaching or is passionate about beginning a teaching career.
This role requires a Counsellor with strong knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to apply and teach across Counselling courses.
A Master's qualification in counselling or a relevant field is preferred (or the applicant should be actively working towards one).
You will bring strong organizational and time management skills, be a self-starter with a good sense of humour and have patience and flexibility.
You will also have the ability to lead and work as part of a team and be adept at using your initiative.
You will be research active in this role.
You will need outstanding communication skills and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.
This is a Permanent role based primarily at our Manukau campus, however student placements visits may be required and you may be required to travel around the greater Auckland area so a current full NZ Drivers Licence will be essential.
It would also be favourable to have a passion for creative and expressive modality.
